Assassin’s Creed 3 first Trailer announced by Ubisoft
The images released last week led many fans to speculate that AC3′s hero was at least part Native American. They were right.
Ubisoft formally announced Assassin’s Creed 3. which features new historical protagonist Connor. Set during the time of the American Revolution in the late 18th century the game apparently offers gamers the chance “to experience the American Revolutionary War not written about in history books” and features a new hero – Ratohnaké:ton of Native American and English heritage
The cinematic trailer does not contain any gameplay footage, although it does give a good idea of the new features coming to the game. Namely, we see the game’s huge and untamed frontier area, said to be bigger than Assassin’s Creed Revolution’s entire map, as well as a glimpse at the chaotic battlefields of the American Revolutionary War. Check out the trailer:
AC3 has been in development for three years. It’s scheduled to hit the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC on October 30th. Ubisoft says that they’re developing a Wii U version as well but it doesn’t seem that the release date for that platform has been set yet. Probably because no one knows when the Wii U itself will actually be released.
If you pre-order Assassin’s Creed III through GameStop, Amazon, or Best Buy, you’ll get a Limited Edition collectible case. The case features artwork from comic book artist Alex Ross.
