LG has announced Xnote A540 with glasses-free 3D and IPS display laptop
Korea’s LG Electronics has announced two new additions to the ranks of its A540 XNote notebook is A540-P and A540-T / D. Both follow the A540-H models that have been previously introduced at CES, offers a 3D display without the aid of glasses that use eye-tracking technology to display video and 3D images. A540-T / D alone has the features of 3D-capable screens to be fitted with a passive 3D glasses while the A540-P will be equipped with AH-IPS screen LG flagship.
All three notebooks devices are powered by an Intel Core i7 processor with GeForce Gt555M graphics and 4.1 channel audio. And all that stuff is encased in aluminium bodies, black bezels and chiclet keyboards. This laptop line is similar to Apple’s laptop, MacBook Pro, which berbahankan alumium, with Bazel and elegant-looking black keyboard. Unfortunately the A540-P models do not support the 3D feature FullHD 1080p resolution. Both notebooks are set for Korea and will reportedly see a global release in the first quarter of 2012.
The top of the line A540-H with glasses-free 3D is priced around 2.25m Korean won, or about $2,000, the A540-T/D 3D model is priced at 1.93m won, or $1,700, and the A540-P IPS model is priced at 1.7m won, or $1,500.
