Motorola DROID Fighter image Leaked, to hit the shelves on April 12th
A member of the MFUNZ forums has posted a picture of what he says is a new Motorola phone that could be the Droid Fighter. The phone looks very similar to the Droid RAZR, but with a 4.6-inch “HD” (likely 720p) screen that’s pushed more to the edges. No physical touch buttons are in sight, suggesting it will use Android 4.0′s onscreen keys like the Galaxy Nexus.
Leaked image clearly shows a front-facing camera and a Verizon logo. Seeing as this carrier has committed to only releasing smartphones with 4G LTE this year, that feature is a given. As for a release date, a leaked internal document from Verizon just a few weeks ago marked the DROID Fighter as hitting shelves on April 12th. There was no mention of price, although judging from recent flagships releases, you’ll probably be looking to throw down $300 for the device on a two-year contract.
Stay tuned on our website in the coming weeks and don’t forget to check back on GadgetShift.com on April 12th, when the Droid Fighter will supposedly be officially unveiled.
