Unlocked Galaxy Nexus HSPA+ is now available at $399
The HSPA+ Galaxy Nexus is going to be for sale, unlocked, for $399 in a new “Devices” section of Google Play. The android chief Andy Rubin just posted a blog to announce that Google would begin selling the unlocked Galaxy Nexus to customers in the United States starting today. Mr. Rubin wrote, “We’ve come a long way since the first Android devices started hitting shelves three and a half years ago and since the launch of the first Nexus device.”
The Galaxy Nexus is Google’s flagship smartphone device, and has been available on the global market since the fall of last year. It runs Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and features a 4.65-inch Super AMOLED 720p HD display. Google says that this is the first time the unlocked Galaxy Nexus is being made officially available to U.S. customers. The unlocked version works with both AT&T and T-Mobile, and includes support for Google Wallet. Go buy one immediately.
